Pool Guidelines
BE ADVISED, THE TURNBERRY HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION UNDERTAKES NO OBLIGATION OR DUTY TO ENSURE THE HEALTH OR SAFETY OF ANY PERSON USING THE POOL, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY OBLIGATION OR DUTY TO PREVENT THE TRANSMISSION OF COVID-19 OR ANY OTHER INFECTIOUS DISEASES. IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE ANY OF THE TURNBERRY POOL AMENITIES, YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Relative to the swimming pool, the following rules will apply:
(1) Only Turnberry Residents and immediate family members should occupy the pool area and are required to have their pool wristbands in view at all times;
(2) No more than 20 should occupy the inside fenced pool area at any one time, which includes a maximum of 4 occupants in the kiddie pool;
(3) Maintain social distancing at all times, staying at least 6 feet away from people, other than those with whom you live;
(4) Wash your hands at home with soap and water before and after swimming. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer immediately before and after you swim;
(5) Avoid using the pool ladders and handrails, if possible. Do not sit on the pool steps. Avoid touching your face. Bring your own water bottle, towel, and sanitizer; No food or other drinks are allowed at this time in the pool area;
(6) Do not touch the gates with your bare hands;
(7) Please limit your stay to 90 minutes or less to ensure all residents have time to use the pool. Residents are expected to be honest and fair with time. No floats or similar toys permitted at this time. If no one is waiting, then longer swim times are permitted
(8) Do not use the pool if you: (a) feel sick or are exhibiting any coronavirus symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell); (b) if you have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days; or (c) if you are a vulnerable individual (i.e., elderly individuals and individuals with serious underlying health conditions, including high blood pressure, chronic lung disease, diabetes, obesity, asthma, and those individuals whose immune system is compromised such as by chemotherapy for cancer and other conditions requiring such therapy).
The pool furniture is being stored and is not available for personal use at this time, as there is no way to ensure sanitizing before and after every use. Residents are permitted to bring their own personal chair but no table. Please take every precaution to make the pool a safe environment for all. No reservations for social events are being accepted at this time.
